Current Projects

- I'm working on teaching myself Java programming, and having fun hacking together some oddball live performance 'instruments' from analog and digital ICs and discrete components.
- I just finished a composition for cello and live electronics Angel Ascending (in memoriam James Tenney and Miranda Grace Redcorn Miller). It will be premiered by Ulrike Brand at SFIFEM 2008.
- I'm working on several compositions including: a piece bass clarinet & tape for Gareth Davis; violin & computer for Maja Cerar; and new live performance pieces including: 'River Crossings (for Pauline Oliveros)'; a piece for sustaining instruments and multi-channel feedback system (in memoriam James Tenney); and a few others.
- I'm working on some writing projects including: an article on composers & urban noise; and a book proposal on tuning systems as creative resources for composers and performers.
- I'm implementing the tape delay systems in MaxMSP for a number of compositions by James Tenney. They should be available for free download at some point this coming summer.
