What's New and Recent:

• I'll be participating in a 1-week intensive workshop in Balinese and Sundanese Gamelan at the the Center for World Music in Payangan, Bali 23-31 August 2008.

• I've recently relocated to Singapore to design and direct a new graduate program in Sonic Arts Design at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore.

• My composition Angel Ascending (in memoriam James Tenney and Miranda Grace Redcorn Miller) for cello and live electronics was premiered at SFIFEM 2008 by Ulrike Brand.

• The 12th annual Santa Fe International Festival of Electroacoustic Music (SFIFEM 2008) happened all during the month of March - concerts (March 28 & 29), radio broadcasts (every Sunday evening in March), and an ambient sound installation (all month). Full details on the festival website.

• I performed on live electronics with pianist Peter Breslin for Duology 4 - the latest in his concert series of improvised duets - on Saturday March 1, 8 PM in the O'Shaughnessy Performance Space, College of Santa Fe.

• Along the Pecos, a gallery installation piece for surround-sound environment and large-format black and white gelatin-silver photographic prints, by photographer Jennifer Schlesinger and I premiered, February 1-21, 2008 at the MOV-iN Gallery in Santa Fe.

• I co-edited the Volume 7 Number 1 (Fall/Winter 2007) issue of Soundscape: The Journal of Acoustic Ecology and created the website for online supplemental audio and image files.
